    Booked a last minute tour with Green Devil. Miguel the guide and driver (a splendid one!) is a local who knows his ways, speaks english like a true British (whom you can understand if you're not British yourself) and is not pushy so you have time to take photos, have a drink (or two) and really enjoy yourself and the beautiful landscape. And if you care about the local life and the history of Madeira Miguel is your guy. Will tour again!

    Picked up from the Hotel and taken on a brilliant trip by Leon (I think that's his name). It was Friday Aug 11th, picked up from Calheta Beach hotel for the afternoon. It was fun, interesting and the driver was excellent and knowledgeable. Love it!!

    This was a sightseeing off road trip so not much discussion with the driver/guide. He was excellent in the way he handled difficult driving conditions. The weather however did not allow us see much from the peaks and the trip was thus curtailed

    We went on a half-day 4x4 trip with Jose, who is very friendly, knowledgeable and an excellent driver. He did his best to show us the most amazing views (despite the occassional fog and drizzle), the challenging off-road tracks, and the indigenous local flora. We drove alongside little farms and vineyards and sampled poncha and Madeira wine. Jose told us a lot about life on Madeira, its history and geology. It was a fantastic journey between valleys, hills, cliffs and the coast. Highly recommended! Many thanks again:-)
