Awesome day trip with Val…very accommodating and tailored to our family including a six year old. Val was very knowledgeable and extremely understanding. He saw our needs especially with a 6 year old passenger and was prepared to change the itinerary at any point.

We had the most fantastic time on this tour. Going into it, we didn’t know what to really expect but we got to see and experience some stunning parts of the island that we wouldn’t have if we’d gone with a more commercial tour. We were able to really switch off from the stresses of every day life and enjoy the day without being surrounded by other tourists. My husband said this is the best thing we have done in a long time! The guide was also so lovely, personable, and extremely knowledgable. Would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Madeira, even if it’s not your first time there. A truly unique way to explore the island and its charms.

We had such a terrific tour of the island with Valdemar. It was like driving around the island with an old friend. He took us to places we probably would not have seen otherwise and away from all the other tourists. Valdemar shared so much information with us on everything. It was incredible! He is very kind and he loves what he does! We wouldn't hesitate to hire him again!

5 stars for Val! We loved him and he really made our first day in Madeira! We wanted to do the PR1 > PR2 but the route was closed due to bad weather - which we knew would be possible but Val thought on his feet and reacted well to each part of the day! We did a beautiful walk through a valley that was protected from the weather and spent the day afterwards driving around sightseeing and learning, alot of the things were on our bucket list & we wanted to see. All day was like a school day! He is extremely knowledgeable. My partner fully enjoyed driving around open top taking in all the views. Val gave us recommendations for walks for the rest of our trip. We look forward to returning and seeing Val again! Highly recommend.
