Was met by Sean and after five minutes he felt like an old friend. Canoeing was up first and the morning was amazing. I am a non swimmer myself and Sean made me feel relaxed straight away. So glad I did this part of the tour very peaceful and just lots of fun. This tour had so much to offer from a personal wine tour, lunch beach stop and history lessons along the way. My two weeks almost over in WA this tour was the highlight. We are a group of (6) 60 -65 years great day out in the Margaret River.

Great day (again!) with Sean I love this tour (I try to do the tour whenever I visit Margaret River) as I enjoy the variety of activities. This time I was joined by my niece who is staying/working in the area. Sean takes the time to explain how we are going to spend the day before driving us to part of Margaret River to go kayaking. Although rain was forecast we were lucky and had a great hour on the water, which was as still as a mill pond. Then off to Prevelly - White Elephant cafe for a coffee. I have never seen the sea there so rough - the waves were pounding in. The next stop was at another part of the river to taste some different honeys. The lack of rain was apparent all around us, particularly seeing so many trees which had died back - it’s scary. Then on to Fraser Gallup for wine tasting over a delicious lunch, which is always a favourite part of the trip. I was especially pleased to learn that some of the wines are now available in the UK. Final stop was on part of the Cape to Cape track. Again the sea was huge- I have never seen the waves so big. We watched a surfer being towed out to catch some of the huge waves- amazing. Sean gave us all suggestions on how to spend the rest of our time in the area. Overall a great day!

(Excuse the delay in adding this post - a long overseas trip plus a daughter’s wedding can cause that!) So, first of all, we were immediately intrigued by Sean’s tagline - “The tour for people who don’t do tours” - as that describes us to a T. But, then again, this perhaps should not even be called a tour….it’s just like being out for a fascinating and fun day with a knowledgeable, passionate and engaging friend. Honestly, we are lucky to have travelled a bunch and seen/done a lot. But this day, and Sean himself, are something special. Hand on heart do yourself a favor and book this…you could never hope to replicate this yourself, in terms of variety, access, quality, discovery, and fun! Everything you read on his website is accurate, and like us you’ll only be sad that you don’t live near enough to easily go again. A well-thought-out and fabulously-delivered day. No rush, no hassle, just excellent.

Everyone needs to experience this terrific small tour with Sean. He’s fun and knowledgeable. So many adventures which anyone could manage - canoeing, seeing fabulous coastline, forest drive, wine tasting at a top winery which was very special plus a lovely lunch. Thank you Sean, for your tips for our other days while here. I’ll tour with you again when I return to magical Margaret River.

Good variety of activities. Small group. Sean is very knowledgeable about the Margaret River area and also about the wine making industry in the area. Some great costal scenery on a short walk on a section of the Cape to Cape walk.

A great mix of activities from lazy canoeing to visiting a winery with picnic style lunch inside, and a great walk along the coast. Sean is an excellent host, who knows the area's history, and wines. He is careful, looking after his guests. Highly recommend doing this tour if you want something different than tourist buses visiting 65 wineries in a day!

What a day with Sean! We traveled with kids (8 and 12) and grandparents, everyone loved this day. Everything was memorable! Sean speaks so passionately about his region and he makes you discover unique places, you can’t miss this tour. And a little extra, he also takes beautiful photos!

How do you chose a tour to Margaret River if you've never been there ? its hard, so when we saw this tour that allowed us to do all the things we love... a bit of adventure, some culture, wine and food and beautiful scenery we thought this would be perfect. We were not wrong. At first we were disappointed when we checked out availability as there was nothing available on our chosen day, I messaged Sean to see if he had any other recommendations, instead he very kindly cancelled his day off and ran the tour just for us (a group of 5)...very generous. When on the tour Sean was great at getting everybody involved in activities and his enthusiasm rubbed off on us all as our questions came thick and fast. We all loved the canoeing, which was an incredible way to experience the beautiful scenery. The wine tasting element was a delight, with VIP access and an amazing lunch. After lunch we headed to the wild coastal path for some breath taking views across the ocean. Sadly, our day came to and end, but felt so grateful that we had had a chance to see and experience things we would never have been able to do independently or on other more homogenised tours. thank you Sean for giving us such an amazing and memorable trip.

This was definitely the best day tour we have done in Australia and on par with our best in the world. It’s intimate and fun with a perfect balance of activity and indulgence - nothing drags. Sean is knowledgeable and supportive and you get a much better sense of the real and special Margaret River region than you would on a typical winery tour. You won’t regret this.

The experience was fantastic - Sean was extremely informative and introduced us to some places that we simply wouldn’t have seen otherwise! We especially loved being able to canoe down the Margaret River and see behind the scenes of Fraser Gallop winery. We intentionally did this tour on one of our first days in Margaret River so that we could get a better idea of the area and the things to do there during the rest of our trip and this worked perfectly for that.
