This tour was unexpectedly great , and worth the money . Micheal did a great job giving us the history of New York, and even gave us places to head afterwards. Was expecting to go to the statue , but nevertheless great job

Great views, great tourguide. Lots of valueable tips and very well presented. Not overcrowded and lots of time in front of the statue to take pictures. Thank you Michael, and sorry I stepped on the bench ;)

Michael Spense was an amazing tour guide. Such a wonderful experience and totally made the trip an unbelievable unforgettable experience. I don't usually like tours but this was incredible.

The tour did have some great views of the city but we had a terrible experience. First of all the guy wearing a blue vest with big city tour on it was friendly when we exited the subway and told me the tour was $35 per person and gave me information about the tour and about the bus all good. All good at this point and I said we take the tour. He asked if I was paying cash or card this is when things started getting fishy. I gave him my card he ran it and gave me my print out of the tickets and receipt. The total on the receipt was $103 when I questioned the total he said “dude you got to pay taxes and fees and said I ain’t got time for these other people are waiting on me!” I said fine what we do or go now. He point and said go with guy. We went up to the guy he point at and asked what we need to do. He got mad and started yell at the men purchased tickets from and said come on. He walked a few feet up the sidewalk and he said walk to that corner and you will see the buses. We walked to the corner and a guy come up saying let me have your ticket. The guy was wearing regular street clothes. I said dude I don’t know who you are and tried to pull the tickets out of my hand. When I pulled then back out of his hand he started yelling “ man what are you doing why you want to be like that!” I told him I don’t know who you are or what your doing he got even madder and yelled more. We walked away from him toward the bus. He started yelling even louder” I’m the supervisor they are going to laugh at you dude they are going to laugh at you !” We walked to the bus to looked for the drivers and did not see them.A gentleman wearing a blue vest with Big city tours walked by and we asked him what to do and he told us to get on the bus. The guy who had been yelling said “ hell no ,not on me bus got off” the man in the blue vest said “this is where your supposed to be for the water tour if that’s what you’re wanting to do” and turned around told the the man that had been yelling to shut up! We got on the bus and heard other people saying this” is so crazy and unorganized “. The “yell guy” then got on the bus and made some announcements , so apparently he did work for them but had nothing on to identify himself or the company. Bus ride to dock was fine. When we got to the dock it was about 15 minutes before the tour was supposed to begin all good no worries. We waited another 25 minutes before they started boarding us. After boarding we seat for another 20 minutes before pulling away from the dock and the tour narrator began talking. As we got about 100 yards from the dock they turned the boat and pulled back into the dock to let more people on. This happened once more. Now we were on way for the hour water tour of the city. The boat was way to crowded to take good pictures . We returned to the dock 40 minutes later, remember this was supposed to be an hour tour. The only good thing I have to say about this tour was I did see some beautiful views and the narrator was good. BAD EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At first we were becoming a little bit skeptical about the tour, because the bus were taking us to the pier which seemed to be in the opposite direction from the statue and time was passing much longer than the ticket guy told us. But as soon as the cruise started, we started to enjoy thanks largely to the real professional person , our guide, Mr. Michael Spence. His speech were putting every person onboard together. Everyone felt that he was talking to you ,leaving no one behind. Also his knowledge about the city was deep . I think everyone learned something about Manhattan today. Love, big heart and the pride as a native New Yorker surrounded us all and I am sure that all people onboard had some good ideas about what to do next after the tour. The time we spent with Michael inspired every one of us to go see things around this city, find and learn about this big and exciting city. Thank you,Michael, we are so grateful that we had a chance to go on this tour with you. We hope that the God will bless you.
