Our guide, Antonio, arrived early. He was friendly and a walking encyclopedia of Madeira. His English was fluent so we had a very lively exchange throughout the day. The off-road experience was bone-shaking and exhilarating, and the fresh scent of the eucalyptus plants, along with other flora, perfumed the air. One regret was we could not experience the mystical forest because it was very cold. So for anyone going on the all-day jeep tour, bring a cover-up. Thank you, Jeep Safari Tours and Antonio for a memorable vacation.

Didn’t expect to see so much and the jaw dropping awesomeness of the scale and variety of eco systems and the vastness of mother natures creation.
We had a fantastic guide and driver called Jose.
In fact he made the day with his expert driving and knowledge of the island and is a massive asset to your company.
The lunch deal he arranged at the hotel over looking the natural pools was great value for a 3 course meal including a decent sized glass of good local wine.
The trip took around 8 hours but seemed like it was over in the blink of eye and time does fly when your having fun.😎
Enjoyed it so much booking another trip this week to do another part of the Island with you.
Great value for money and if your lucky enough to have Jose as your tour guide that will be the icing on the cake for you we are sure.

The ride was amazing, we drove through the beautiful and wild mountains of Madeira, and then along a bit of northern shore. The views were breathtaking, and the driver, Bruno, told us a lot about what we saw during our trip, and about Madeira. You can also ask the driver to book you a dinner in a restaurant on the way. Excellent service and experience. Try and you will not regret.

A fabulous trip into the mountains over rough tracks. Be prepared to be bumped and jolted! Too long in Porto Moniz unless you want to swim. Don't take the set lunch option, better to find your own. Also freezing cold driving through clouds at altitude, take warm coat and hat. Overall a very good day out seeing parts of the island you normally wouldn't get to.

We really enjoyed the tour hosted by Jazz. From start to finish he was smiling and courteous making sure everyone was comfortable. You get to see lovely peaks of the island where you wouldn’t be able to go in a hire car as it’s off road. Bumpy but fun. Porto Moniz is very pretty. If you fancy a dip take your swim gear. Jazz was also good at sharing his knowledge. Not easy when you’ve got a mixed group of French & English.
