    Our tour around Old Town Alexandria included 4 restaurant stops, each one a different type of food but all equally delicious! My family really enjoyed our walk through history with our guide Lynn leading the way. She shared interesting history about the people and the town of Alexandria in between restaurant stops. She also did a great job explaining the dishes we were served. Highly recommend! It was simple to reserve our tour, parking and finding our guide was easy, the restaurants were amazing (and we'll be back to visit them again!), and the distance--about 2 miles--was just right for a summer afternoon.

    Landini was excellent, and so was the Mexican restaurant but Pitas did not connect with most of the guests. It was overbooked and delayed but the tour guide did what he could to keep us on track. Also there was a lot of backtracking to street we had already walked so a more efficient path would be good.

    Fascinating! On a hot day, it was perfect to take respite in cool dining rooms with refreshments. I would happily repeat the same tour with Terry.

    Great way to learn a little history and who doesn’t like a taste at a few restaurants. We were meeting for a friend reunion so able to talk with one another.

    This was a wonderful food tour! Terry was a fun and knowledgeable guide who took us to 4 restaurants and shared some interesting history as we walked. My sister and I grew up in the Mt. Vernon area and recalled our first jobs in Old Town a few yrs (okay....decades) ago. The changes have been amazing and we learned something we hadn't known about our HS 'stomping' grounds. The restaurant selections reflected cuisines from several cultures and were creations from small proprietors (not chain restaurants). I recommend this tour both for those visiting the area and for those of us who call this area home and are looking to rediscover our backyard. All food was well prepared and servings were appropriate for a walking tour. We shared the adventure with a wonderful couple visiting the area, and this tour as a small group with some really good people and great guide was a really great experience!
