    Nuno took us for an amazing day out with my mum who’s 87 and has difficulty walking. He was great. We’ve been to Madeira a lot but he still managed to take us to places we’ve never been. Banana museum, authentic poncha bar.. we are back again soon and would definitely book him again

    Nuno was super tour guide with our family of the North and East sides of the island. He took us all to the places we wanted to see and enjoyed his expertise and made it fun for the teenagers. Really enjoyed it. Weather was very mixed so sexial beach was not visited. Apart from that really enjoyed seeing part of the island and stopping at several points for looking around and eating drinking the traditional food the residents eat up in the mountains ⛰️

    The day spent on this experience was a game-changing highlight of our visit to Madeira. Our host was kind, gracious, knowledgable, patient, and generous with his time and his many deep insights. Our host speaks excellent English, and utilized a helpful device to amplify his voice, which was important, as the tour was conducted in an open vehicle with a bit of road noise. The experience deepened our understanding of, and appreciation for, Madeira in a way we would not have been able to gain on our own. He added delightful and thoughtful touches to elevate the experience in unexpected ways,, and shared insights and recommendations for places to go on our own during the following days - all of which were fantastic. You cannot go wrong utilizing this company. A good tip would be to prepare for variations in weather throughout the day, including bringing water, sunscreen, a hat, and a light jacket. Hope you enjoy as much as we did.

    What an amazing day we had with Nuno on our day tour of the West of the island. Nuni is a very knowledgeable, attentive and friendly guide and nothing was too much trouble for him, ensuring we were always able to maximise our enjoyment with views and experiences we won't forget! Extra view points and places of interest were included throughout the day that we were not expecting, these were both beautiful and highly appreciated. We hope to visit Madeira again in the future and will certainly look to see the East of the island with Nuno as our guide! Thank you again, Nuno, from Stuart, Mel and Harrison.

    Did the half day tour of the West coast today after seeing a recommendation for Nuno and Classic Madeira Tours. It did not disappoint! Hard to put into words how beautiful this island is, Nuno's local knowledge was priceless and he took us to see some really beautiful places that we would never have seen otherwise. He was so friendly and even included an 'off road" experience for our teenage sons! Not to mention the special poncha tasting in a lovely traditional family run bar. 😋 If you are looking to do a tour, I would look no further than Nuno. There are lots of companies that do them, but Nuno adds a real personal touch with his knowledge, warmth and obvious pride in his home! Just fantastic from start to finish!

    Built in 1950, the Miradouro do Pico dos Barcelos is located in the parish of Santo António at an altitude of about 355 meters. From this viewpoint it is possible to contemplate a breathtaking panoramic view over the bay and the city of Funchal, with the Desertas Islands in the background.
