Cathedrale Notre-Dame de Paris

The famous Notre Dame cathedral from the 12th Century which is currently under renovation. The Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris, a masterpiece of Gothic architecture, is the most visited monument in France. It was built in the Middle Ages, at the far end of the Île de la Cité. Work started in the 13th century and finished in the 15th century. Badly damaged during the French Revolution, the cathedral was restored in the 19th century by the architect Viollet-le-Duc. Its many visitors come to admire its stained glass and rose windows, the towers, the steeple, and the gargoyles. In 2013, Notre-Dame is celebrated its 850th anniversary. For this occasion, many events were organized and the cathedral renewed its bells with the arrival of eight new bells as well as a new great bell. Montmartre

We will start our walking tour from Metro station Blanche, go cross Moulin Rouge cabaret, go up via the market full of shops and cafes crossing some famous boulangeries till the wall of Love where you can click a picture which brings good luck. Then we continue via the house and statue of famous singer Dalida towards the pink house called " la Maison rose " and via the street behind the only vineyard in the area we will cross the oldest cabaret of Paris called Lapin agile. We continue towards the famous Place du Tertre which is also the painter's area. Then we end our trip at Sacré cœur cathedral with an amazing bird's eye view of the city of Paris. You can go back on your own on foot or take the funicular rail which costs the same price as a metro ticket, Approx 2€. You can use a Metro ticket directly on this train which takes less than a minute to go down.
