What to expect
Alcazaba
The Romans and the Muslims, two great civilizations made their mark in Málaga. The Roman Theatre and its Visitors Center will be our first stop, and will you us an idea of the splendor that the city enjoyed in the imperial era. After that, the Alcazaba of Málaga will be waiting for us. Built during Muslim Spain, al-Andalus, it will remind us of the Alhambra in Granada. Visit the Arms Courtyard used by the Catholic Monarchs after the conquest of the city, and the Cuartos de Granada, with spectacular panoramic views of the harbor and the center.
Malaga Cathedral
Come and meet more about the historic center of Málaga in this tour where we will start visiting Plaza de la Merced, Picasso’s birthplace, and the Monument of Torrijos. Following through calle Granada, we’ll visit Santiago Church, with its beautiful mixture of Gothic and Mudéjar style, and where Picasso was baptized in 1881. Moreover, our guides will lead you among the centric historical streets until the Cathedral, known as “la manquita”, where you will appreciate its internal beauty.
