First time to this region and brought family. First time to Europe for them. This trip to French Basque region was one of the highlights of our visit to Donostia - San Sebastián. Our guide Alex was wonderful. So glad we left the driving and parking to him. Very informative and incredibly friendly.

Our guide Alex was patient courteous and informative. The two towns prior were sweet charming seaside hidden gems as far as travel was in June could be. The church were Louis the 14th was married was breath taking. Biarritz was wealth, stunning sand stone formations, great shopping. Good restaurants. Must see highlight as Part of our stay in San Sebastian.😊

My husband and I took this tour with our driver/guide, Alex. He was very courteous, reliable and professional and an excellent driver. He took us to see the sights of several lovely small villages before we arrived in Biarritz. He somehow had access to places that I know we would not have been able to access without him. Also, having a private guide and avoiding the hassle of trying to figure out public transit on our own was worth the price of this tour. Alex also gave us plenty of time to explore on our own and enjoy lunch in Biarritz before heading back to San Sebastián. A very enjoyable day overall.

My friends and I absolutely loved this tour! There were lots of wonderful things to see along the French coast and plenty of opportunities to shop for goodies. The “original” macarons at St Jean de Lutz, in particular, were to die for! Make sure to buy some extra ones. :) We went on a prior winery tour with Alex and he was proactive with adjusting this tour to fit our interests. He had lots of stories to share and he felt right at home with our group and it was just like hanging out with a friend. Thanks Alex!

Alex was a wonderful guide . He told us facts of the area along the way, pointing out the beautiful scenery. We were able to walk at a comfortable pace around the towns . He would come to pick us up.. We got to enjoy Louis IV macaroons from.Maison Adam , 1600, where macaroons first created . We saw beautiful castles and cathedrals ..Alex told us interesting and fun facts . We were able to have a delicious French lunch . Alex was on time. He was able to answer all our questions.

Alek was a great driver and fun person to spend a few hours with. He shared several interesting spots on our drive to Biarritz. Our group was expecting a bit more history of the area and more experiences than just viewing the scenery.

We were lucky to have Alex bring us on three tours. The other two tours were the Bilboa, Guggenheim museum and coastal villages and the French Basque Countryside. Alex was a wonderful guide, very knowledgeable and enthusiastic about these beautiful places. He kindly accommodated our physical capabilities, knowing when to stop and enjoy the awesome views or have a delicious meal and wine! Alex suggested things to try and we loved everything! We saw so many unbelievable places, it’s hard to say which we loved best! If you go to San Sebastián, take a tour with Alex, I’m sure you will be pleased.

Our tour of the basque French coast towns was outstanding. Our tour guide, Alex, was informative, friendly and made sure we saw things we would not have known to look for on our own. We appreciated him and enjoyed our day!
