We ended up having a private tour. Daniel was our guide and was a great guide. I would highly recommend him. The day we went to Sintra was a cloudy day so we didn’t get a chance to see the Peña castle. However Daniel made the effort to take us off the route to a place where we could see it from a distance. The bike ride through the park towards Caiscais was very enjoyable especially when the sunshine and warmth came out. Lunch was okay, but it was our second choice given that the usual restaurant was closed due to the holiday. Bikes are in excellent condition and easy to ride. Would recommend this tour but on a less foggy day.

What a wonderful electric bike tour of Sintra and Cascais. Jorge was our guide and he was excellent! He provided us with the history of the area and insight into Portugal while guiding us and looking after us on our journey. I can’t believe all we saw over the 9 hours of touring. If you want to see villages, castles, beaches, a national park, farms, and enjoy delicious food and conversations with a well read interesting guide, this is the tour for you! We aren’t bikers but were able to manage the terrain with help of the e-bike traveling up some steep hills. All was so enjoyable and I highly recommend the tour and Jorge!

We did not get a chance to experience this event due to very poor communication and identification of the meet up point. My uber dropped me off at the exact address and the coordinator requested that I walk to another location. Please beware!

Absolutely amazing all day ride. Not wating time on crowded touristic spots but leads through real villages and beautiful forest. If you want to visit castles, its not your trip, if you want to enjoy rural land and real places, go for it.

Daniel our guide was excellent, knowledgeable, took care to make sure everyone was OK, and that the bikes were in good working order. It is a breathtaking trip, but even with e-bikes, it will be a challenge for some because of the climbs. This tour shows you many different landscapes and aspects of Portuguese country living. You are in the mountains and down to the sea. All of it is beautiful and it is a nice change from the bigger tourist cities. Be prepared to pay cash for your lunch and do some riding in Lisbon traffic and the town center of Sintra. You will be glad you did.

It was a great way to see the country and get out to see historic sites and enjoy fresh air and nature.

Loved the beauty and history of both Sintra and Cascais. Riding ebikes is a perfect way to explore the area. Our guide, Bruno, was exceptionally knowledgeable and personable. He helped us navigate through Lisbon and the train station with ease. I highly recommend this excursion!

Debbie_M

A terrific day with Bruno on Sintra. The best way to see Sintra and Cascais! The e-bikes were great, and easy to learn and use as this was my first time on one. You will really miss the beauty if you don’t tour here by e-bike. One of our favorite experiences so far!!

Shelly_B

Daniel was a great guide with a big smile and knowledge of areas traveled!! The bikes are powerful with long lasting battery-no worries as they handle well. The rise route was amazing-loved it so much wish I had time to do again!! I highly recommend this ebike ride for the beauty and history and sharing with friendly like minded travelors.

Jorge was a good tour guide. Very personable and very knowledgeable about locations and history of his country. We saw a lot and other than the wet and sometimes bumpy roads, had a good day.
