What can i say; Pedro and Adriana were absolutely incredible!! I was on a trip with a looked after child with learning disabilities and another member of staff. Pedro was so patient with the young man we were with and did not mind re-explaining himself where needed. The climb, caves, beaches and sea life were amazing and it was incredible to be able to give this young man some space to explore his skills knowing that we were in the safety of such fabulous guides. I would absolutley recommend this trip to anyone visiting portugal. Oh the fruit and biscuits on the beach after the trip was a really nice touch too. Thank you.

Ever wondered what it’s like to turn a city girl with her 11-year-old son into a cave-exploring adventurer? Well, let me tell you about my life-changing experience on a snorkeling tour with Zip & Trip in Portimão!
From the moment we set out, I knew this wasn’t going to be your average tour. Pedro, our guru-like guide, led us into hidden caves that you’d never find on your own. Get ready to climb a bit, crawl, and swim through schools of fish. Trust me, I was scared, but Pedro’s calm and expert guidance made it all feel possible.
I even had the chance to meet the owner, a professional scuba instructor from Sweden who started Zip & Trip with his wife a number of years ago. He was a walking encyclopedia of knowledge about the stunning limestone formations. We saw million-year-old fossils nestled in the cave walls, cozy homes for birds and other fascinating creatures. At first, I thought I couldn't do it, but he was my savior! He literally never left my side, holding onto a board with me and making sure I was okay every part of the way. I went from freaking out to calm and confident, all thanks to his patience and graciousness.
Anderson, another amazing team member, took all of the photos during our adventure. He was incredibly kind and caring, capturing every moment beautifully so we could relive the experience again and again.
Forget those hundreds of boat tours you see—this is the only way to explore the mysterious, hidden caves of Portimão. If I can do it, anyone can. I promise this tour will be the highlight of your trip, with memories to last a lifetime.

This was a wonderful experience! There was a lot of wildelife to see and many hidden caves to explore (which you can only reach at certain times). Pedro and Adrianna were amazing guides, giving us ample instructions on how to go about everything and also giving us background info on the area and geological history.
If I remember correctly this was also one of the first times Adrianna came along as a guide and she carried herself beautifully. Pedro in turn was able to lead the whole snorkeltour really well and even did some diving to show us.
10/10 would strongly recommend!

What to expect
The number one snorkeling experience in the Algarve!
This isn't an ordinary activity and you should definitely try it out! We're marine biologists who love working with small groups, ensuring everyone feels at ease even if you've never tried anything similar before. There's plenty of time to snorkel and relax on hidden beaches. We'll also explore secret caves and make stops along the way to capture photos in stunning places! Our full morning experience starts at 9am and ends around 1pm with a tasty picnic at the beach.
Do you love to get away from the crowded beaches and prefer to visit the local secret spots? Here we have lots of caves with openings on the top through where the sun shines inviting us to walk in, sit down and relax. The connection between these natural temples is the sea, so you can simultaneously experience the ocean and the coast - enjoying the best of the two worlds! We’ll snorkel in calm bays where you are able to see a totally different environment with underwater gardens and families of fish swimming by. With comfortable wetsuits floating above this paradise couldn’t be easier!
