We had a fantastic trip with Matt - a trained marine biologist- up the Boambee Creek. The sandbanks were teeming with soldiers crabs, white-bellied sea eagles soared overhead, and we paddled along listening to Matt’s stories and learning heaps along the way. Amazing to see the Gumbaynggirr fish traps along the creek line. Definitely worth a visit.

We had the best time with Matt, we learnt a lot about the area and the creatures. He tailored it to meet our needs, and we just had fun!! We will definitely be back. He’s just a lovely knowledgeable guy who clearly loves what he does.

Such a great idea for a party activity as it covers all age groups. As a Marine Scientist Matt is predictably very knowledgeable with a good sense of humour. Sunset is perfect time on the water (in good weather) as reflections on the water are stunning and birdlife abundant.....fish are jumping so watch out, one might even land in your kayak. Matt is really caring and looks after everyone so well....give it a go...you will love it. ❤️

I would absolutely recommend 10 out of 10! The Tours are small, we were round about 10 people at easter. So the experience is very personalised, there’s time to look at the fascinating crabs, to play a game, and there even were snacks. If you want to enjoy nature and do something fun, book this tour!

Four of us booked in for a sunset tour with Matt. Matt absolutely exceeded our expectations! Due to weather we had to reschedule and Matt was very accommodating and quick to respond. The actual tour began with a safety briefing, then we got straight into the kayaks to begin. Matt was patient with us as we learnt how to paddle and balance ourselves. Up the river we had the option to play a game which got competitive! We went ashore a beach and did some yabbing - we all caught some! Matt provided a snack as he taught us about the land. We then headed back, spent dusk paddling towards the ocean and then back to where we started. Overall the views, scenery and Matt’s guidance made this experience wonderful! Highly recommend!

We really enjoyed this kayak tour. Matt is knowledgeable, fun and friendly. He made it informative but also entertaining. He was very flexible and happy to switch days due to inclement weather. The location was serene and very pretty. The kayaks are all in great condition. I highly recommend this, it was excellent few hours in nature for the whole family.
