    Only two of us (friends ) on the tour and we met our guide who was very welcoming and friendly. She explained a lot of the traditions and history of the region. However we were disappointed with the drinks (3 types of sherry) and tapas (cured tuna, pork and cheese). Very poor value for money and we would have spent about a third of the price of the tour had we just bought them ourselves.

    Angel’s passion and knowledge for food, wine and history come to life on this tour. He is entertaining and a top notch guide, taking you to local Tabancos and sharing the rich culture. This tour exceed my expectations. 5 stars

    After a slightly delayed meet up with our guide, Yolanda, we had a very informative and enjoyable tour of the tabancos in the historical centre of Jerez. Although we have been to Spain frequently, it was good to learn new facts about the tapas and the production of sherry. Thanks Yolanda!

    Our guide was very nice and definitely knowledgeable, but this review is mostly about the tour itself. We only went to three spots all very close to each other which we were pretty sure we would just have encountered ourselves if we’d explored on our own. Additionally, the tapas are cheap (very good thing for those of us on a budget) but the price of the tour was quite high, so it felt like we did not get a fair amount for our money spent. Lastly, the tour was advertised as a food tour but the tapas were the same you’d get anywhere in Andalucía and there was more of an emphasis on alcohol, which was a shame for those in our party who don’t drink. Overall I think we would have preferred just to explore ourselves.

    Agatha was a super host, lots of local knowledge. We enjoyed the tapas, the Sherry & finished in a bar with a Flamenco show. It was a great fun night.
