Starting from Civitavecchia port our fully licensed drivers and vehicles with permit to access Civitavecchia Port will pick you up at the exit of your ship between 07,00 am to 08,00 am to start your tour where you will have the opportunity to visit the Vatican Museum, Sistina Chapel and San Peter church accompanied by a guide who will explain you in your language. After the Vatican a short stop, if required, to appreciate the typical dishes of Roman cuisine such as Carbonara and Amatriciana, you will go to the Trevi Fountain and Colosseum.

From the first moment we met Stephano our Tour Guide/Driver, we knew it was going to be a great day. The drive to Rome went quick with Stephano providing an overview of what our day would be like, along with interesting information about the sights along the way. Once in Rome, he expertly negotiated the narrow streets in his tour van. For the one day tour, Stephano had recommended five sites for us to go tour. Along the way to each one, he would give us some of the history of each site so we would have some background information while viewing it. He would then drop us off quite nearer each site and provide us with explicit instructions on where he would pick us up. And evidently he would be there at the appointed time, no matter how bad the traffic! Are you able to see, the Trevi fountain, the Spanish Steps, the Pantheon, the Colosseum, a Christmas market, and St. Peter’s Square (with an appearance of the Pope that Stephano found out was happening in wisked us there just in time to see him!) in the middle of the day he dropped us at a restaurant of a friend, that we had a wonderful meal at. before our tour, we had also booked a photographer to take pictures of the family at a couple of the sites. Stephano is more than happy to bring the photographer along between each site saving us much walking time between them. At the end of the day he drove his back and safely delivered us to the ship. We had had such a wonderful day that we booked him to take us to the airport the next day. On the way there we stopped and had a lovely Italian breakfast! If you only have one or two days to see the sides of Rome, I highly recommend Stephano and his taxi/tour service!

My family and I very much enjoyed our private tour with Stefano. He was very knowledgeable about the sites and accommodated our very tight schedule given we were visiting for only a few hours from a cruise. His car was very clean and comfortable and able to accommodate our large party. He even had medication on hand when I was feeling sick. Would highly recommend especially if visiting from a cruise!

Stefano whenso guide for an evening tour of Rome. It was amazing. He was very informative very fluent in English took us to spots. The entire tour was great. We got to see Rome's and Vatican's most famous spots while learning so much about history and culture. Stefano was very friendly to everyone in our group, regardless of age. From a 7yo child to 65yo adult, he was able to make everyone smile and laugh. He also took care of us very well, by making sure that we have what we need and is always patient with our requests for detours/whenever we're late 😅 would definitely recommend Stefano and this tour to my friends.

We only had one day to explore Rome as we were on a cruise and we opted for this tour as it uses a minibus, unlike the official cruise excursions which use coaches which are not allowed into the centre of Rome. Stefano was the perfect host, meeting us the port and driving our small party into Rome where we were able to park next to many of the great sights and be given short walking tours with our expert guide. Driving through many narrow streets in the centre of the city gave us a great experience and we were even taken to a local pasta bar for lunch for only 7 euros. Highly recommended!
