Danilo was an excellent driver, and took us to a great restaurant for lunch in Piazza Armerina. The Valley of the Temples was worth the long drive from Catania. We only had limited time there, and in hindsight should have hired a tour guide in order to maximize our time and experience. Villa Romana Del Casale was also an incredible experience (no guide needed!). It’s important to note that this “tour” does not include admission to the sites, but rather is the transportation only.

What a great day! Danilo was a wonderful person to spend the day with, friendly and informative! We were able to spend the day exploring the Temples and the Mosaics! We can’t thank him enough for his services and stories!

Both Agrigento and Piazza Armerina we’re beautiful, but Piazza Armerina was amazing! The mosaics were in near to perfect condition and truly amazing to see!! Our driver Danilo was so friendly and supper funny. He brought us to an amazing restaurant and the way to the Piazza Armerina and the food was delicious. We had the Pasta Norma. We also meet his boss and he was also very friendly. My husband and I will definitely book another tour with them if we’re ever back in Catania!!

Roberto was very punctual. He organised us well, knowing the best places to stop, and gave us all the information we need to get the most out of our visit. He found us an excellent and very reasonably priced restaurant for lunch, and was a pleasure to dine with. Roberto was entertains, informative and friendly. The perfect mix. We thoroughly enjoyed our day.

Dario was an excellent driver and had maps at the ready. He was very friendly and gave us great suggestions! My mistake I booked a driver not an official guide. Again this was my mistake. Dario was great fun.

Roberto gave us a quick and comfortable ride to Agriganto and the Villa from Catania. Go to his suggested restaurant, it's very good.

We had such a good time on this tour despite being slightly concerned over how far Agrigento is from Catania. We were picked up on time (8am) by our driver/guide Dario. He immediately checked if we'd managed to grab breakfast and as we hadn't took us to a nearby cafe. After a quick stop for coffee and croissant we were on the road. Dario explained how he thought the day should go, to make it easier for us. Including a short lunch stop. Dario was very knowledgeable about Catania and indeed Sicily and was able to give us information as we travelled but also answered our questions. We visited the Piazza Armerina first, about an hour and a bit from Catania. Dario explained our visit options and gave us an hour and 15 minutes which was plenty of time. It is an amazing place with fantastic mosaic pictures throughout. The detailing in the pictures is just so clever. We then travelled directly to Agrigento new town and stopped for a snack lunch which suited us fine. We even managed to see the Valley of Temples and the surroundings as the view was amazing. Finally dropped at the Valley, again Dario explained what was available and where to meet once finished. Two hours later, after visiting the 5 very different temples we were collected. The trip back was about 2 hours but felt less because Dario was able to answer our questions and give us other information about the local area. A thoroughly enjoyable day. Thank you!

Alessandro was wonderful, professional and tried to make us savor every part of our daily events. It turned out to be the day after Easter and still managed to find the most sublime and delicious trattoria for lunch. He was very knowledgeable. What a wonderful day!

Splendida esperienza culturale. Esperienza raccomandata davvero. Un particolare ringraziamento alla nostra guida Roberto. Renata e Maria Cristina.
