    We had Anselmo as our guide and I cannot say enough good things about him and our whole day. He was personable, knowledgeable, flexible, and fun to be around. This is so important with a private day tour because you are with the guide the whole day. He brought us to the beauty of the Duoro Valley, making stops at key view points, and he helped us understand the history of the area and details of winemaking. I am still thinking about how the roots grow so far straight down into the shale, creating a whole upside down vineyard in a way! The lunch stop was delicious and really special. More than I expected. Worth the splurge to do a private tour with Anselmo!!

    My husband and I had a private tour with Louis and it was wonderful. We'd strongly recommend this tour if you are in the Porto area. The Douro Valley is beautiful and has such interesting history, there's no better way to go than boat and car. Having a local sharing history and knowing all the great spots to go and treats to get us made it super special . We will hire Luis again, when we come back, he's great!

    We spent a great day learning about Port and wine making with our guide Anselmo in the scenic Duoro valley. He took us a little off the beaten track to scenic view points and lovely Quintas

    Oh my gosh, this trip is a MUST!! We had the most fabulous time with our Guide Luis! We were picked up at the front door of our hotel, driven in a comfortable vehicle, all the way through the valley with a guide that knew the entire history and had incredible knowledge of the area and the wines. The Duoro a valley is just beautiful! We stopped for a coffee in a local shop. The winery we visited was spectacular! We experienced sweeping views, a tour of the winery and and an incredible lunch paired with local wines. We highly recommend this tour!!

    Our guide Rui was amazing. He shared so much knowledge with us! The private tour was my first, and I really liked the personalized experience. It was great to see the Douro from water level up to mountain top level.

    Tasting and tour at a family who runs a winery. Quinta do Infantado was founded in 1816 in the Cima Corgo sub-region of the Douro and is considered the finest zone for both Port and dry wines.
