First and foremost, Amanda Leese was an exemplary guide who was not very knowledgeable on the history and architecture in Wilmington. We initially scheduled the “walking wine and history tour” but weather did not cooperate, however Amanda was very accommodating and able to get us on a tour the morning prior to the rain. Due to the earlier start the wine bars were not included but Amanda ensured my wife and I had the points of contact to get to Wine Knot on our own. Highly encourage anyone passing through Wilmington to take advantage of Amanda’s knowledge and passion for the history it has to offer!

I had so much fun on this wine and history stroll! Our tour guide was amazing and knew a lot about Wilmington. It was fun to visit different bars, but simultaneously learning about the history of where we were at. I love that our tour guide split it up by three different time periods. Definitely will come back again and take this tour!

A wine and history walking tour that does not disappoint. Our guide Amanda filled our easy walking tour with facts and tidbits about the history of Wilmington, NC. Her presentation of the city's history and architecture was filled with numerous and humorous little-known asides which enriched the experience. Our three stops for wine refreshments rounded out a fine event.

Amanda was amazing!! Very passionate!! She knew her history of Wilmington very well (no scripts read) and shared stories about her love for wine. We walked. We drank. We walked. We drank. We walked. We ended up in a wine bar on the 9th floor overlooking the city.
