About Evendo

The world is full of amazing places.

Most of them were never built for the internet. So we built an operating system that understands them anyway.

Where it began

We did not set out to build another travel website.

We started with a question: why does the internet know so much about what can be booked, yet so little about the places where travel actually happens?

A neighbourhood café. A small family restaurant. A viewpoint, a market, a festival, a local shop. These places shape our memories, but many have little or no meaningful digital presence.

“The internet was built around products. We are building it around places.”

That simple difference sits at the heart of Evendo.

How we see travel

Travel platforms organize products.
Evendo organizes places.

Products are easy to compare, transact and distribute. But people do not travel through products. They travel through neighbourhoods, cafés, beaches, parks, restaurants, landmarks and countless places that may never appear in a booking feed.

The invisible 90%

Most of the travel world was never built for the internet.

Traditional platforms naturally focus on what can be listed, booked or sold. The real world is much larger.

Evendo maps the places that already exist—whether or not they have an API, a booking engine, a marketing team or even a proper website.

The Location Graph

We decided to map the world anyway.

Every place Evendo understands becomes part of one connected model of the travel world.

Connected

Places are understood in relation to the cities, neighbourhoods, people and places around them.

Searchable

People can begin with a destination, a landmark, a restaurant—or simply an idea.

Understandable

Each place gains context: what it is, who it suits, what it feels like and how it connects to the wider world.

Meet Eve

Your guide to the places the internet cannot reach on its own.

Some of the world's best places still answer the phone, reply manually or simply operate in the real world.

Eve helps connect people with them. She can answer questions, check details, call when necessary and help close the final gap between discovering a place and actually experiencing it.

Whenever you see Eve, she is there to help.
On the website. In the app. Around the world.
One world. Many ways to explore it.

The Location Graph is the foundation. The interfaces are simply windows.

What Evendo is

Not another travel marketplace.

Evendo is a place intelligence platform: a growing, structured understanding of real-world places and the relationships between them.

Traditional travel platforms

  • Start with inventory that can be sold
  • Organize hotels, flights, tickets and tours
  • Depend on suppliers, feeds and integrations
  • Show a limited slice of the physical world

Evendo

  • Starts with places that exist
  • Models cities, neighbourhoods and individual locations
  • Connects discoverability, context and real-world action
  • Expands beyond what is already bookable

“A place does not need a booking engine to matter. It only needs to exist.”

That is why Evendo maps the world proactively instead of waiting for the world to become inventory.
What Evendo does

From place discovery to real-world action.

Evendo helps people and software discover, understand and interact with the real travel world.

1

Find

Search from a country, city or neighbourhood down to a specific attraction, restaurant, bar, shop or accommodation.

2

Understand

See descriptions, context, practical details, reviews, trends, nearby places and the relationships that make each location meaningful.

3

Explore

Move naturally through connected places—before a trip, while travelling, or through “near me” discovery in the app.

4

Act

Where the internet stops, Eve can help bridge the final gap by answering questions, checking details or contacting a place.

Who benefits

One connected place layer. Different kinds of value.

  • Understand relationships, suitability and local context
  • Surface places that traditional inventory systems overlook
  • Connect digital intent with real-world execution through Eve
What sits underneath

Three ideas power the experience.

The Location Graph

The underlying world model: places, destinations, categories, attributes and connections organized into one growing structure.

Location Finder

The discovery layer that helps people find places by meaning, context and suitability—not only by exact keywords.

E

Eve

The human-facing guide who helps answer questions and close the final gap when a place is not fully reachable online.

The technology behind these systems is explained separately in Behind the Scenes.

What makes the Location Graph useful

It does more than store names and coordinates.

Relationships

A place is connected to the destination, neighbourhood and nearby places around it.

Context

Each location can carry descriptions, categories, practical details, atmosphere, suitability and other place-specific meaning.

Living signals

Reviews, changing sentiment and other current signals help show how a place is perceived over time.

Geographical awareness

The same world model supports destination discovery and immediate “near me” exploration.

Machine readability

Structured place entities are easier for search, applications and AI systems to understand and use.

Real-world reach

Eve extends the system beyond APIs and booking engines into phone calls, messages and human-operated businesses.

Scale

A broad model of the travel world.

Evendo currently covers thousands of destinations and millions of individual places across a wide range of categories.

Frequently asked questions

Evendo, in plain language.

Is Evendo an OTA?

No. Evendo can connect people with bookable products, but its core value is the underlying understanding of places—not a catalogue of inventory.

Is Evendo a travel guide?

The guide is one interface to Evendo. It is a way for people to explore the Location Graph, but it is not the whole platform.

What is a “place”?

A place can be a country, city, neighbourhood, landmark, attraction, restaurant, bar, nightclub, accommodation, shop or another real-world location.

Why model places that cannot be booked?

Because most memorable travel happens outside traditional inventory. A place can matter greatly even when it has no booking system.

What does Eve do?

Eve helps people understand and interact with places. She can answer questions and, where needed, help reach businesses that still operate by phone, email or messaging.

Is Eve AI?

AI is part of how Eve works, but it is not the point. What matters is that she can understand a request and help make something happen.

How is the app different?

The app brings the same place model into the traveler’s immediate surroundings, including geographically aware “near me” discovery.

Can businesses manage their presence?

Yes. Places can activate and improve how they are represented, helping keep important information accurate and easier to understand.

Who can build on Evendo?

Partners, applications and AI systems can use Evendo’s connected place layer to create richer discovery and travel experiences.

Where can I learn about the technology?

Behind the Scenes explains the technical architecture, including the Location Graph, Eve and the systems that make the platform work.

Our mission

Make every place in the world understandable.

The interfaces will keep changing. The world model remains—growing place by place, connection by connection.
