I set out to discover a different side of this blue city, one that offered tranquility and a taste of local life away from the bustling tourist spots. It was a day to recharge and reflect on the beauty surrounding me, appreciating the serene corners of this Moroccan gem.

I decided to indulge in a selection of Moroccan sweets, each a tiny masterpiece of flavor and texture. The pastries were flaky and sweet, and the ice cream was rich and creamy. It was the perfect way to start the day, sitting there with my friends, watching the town slowly wake up. Maximilian would have loved this place; he has such a sweet tooth.

After breakfast, I felt the need to immerse myself in nature, so I headed towards Park Sidi Abdelhamid. The walk there was a pleasant stroll through the blue-washed streets, each corner offering a new perspective and photo opportunity. The weather was mild, with a gentle breeze making it perfect for a morning walk. The park itself was a welcome escape from the urban environment. Lush greenery, colorful flowers, and the sound of birds filled the air. I found a quiet bench under the shade of a tree and simply sat there, enjoying the peace and quiet. It was a perfect spot for reflection, and I spent some time journaling, capturing my thoughts and experiences of the trip so far. I made a mental note to bring Sofia here next time; she would adore the open space and the vibrant flowers.

In the late afternoon, seeking a caffeine boost and a change of scenery, we ventured to COFFEE BREAK chaouen. This charming coffee shop had rave reviews, and I was eager to try it out. The coffee was indeed exceptional, rich and flavorful, and the ambiance was cozy and inviting. We sat outside, enjoying our drinks and chatting with the friendly staff. It was a perfect spot to unwind and recharge before the evening's activities. I even tried to explain to my friends in German how much I love Finnish coffee, but the cultural difference in coffee appreciation was too big to bridge.

As evening approached, we made our way to Restaurant Terrasse Djebli for dinner. This restaurant is known for its stunning views and traditional Moroccan dishes. We arrived just in time to witness the sunset, painting the sky with vibrant colors. The terrace offered a panoramic view of Chefchaouen and the surrounding Rif Mountains. I ordered couscous, and my friends had grilled chicken, and we all agreed that the food was exceptional. The service was attentive, and the atmosphere was magical. The evenings can be cool, so it's a good idea to bring a light jacket.

Tomorrow, we plan to venture a bit outside of Chefchaouen to explore Cave Acher and vue panoramique de la plage. I've heard that Cave Acher is a fascinating natural wonder, with unique rock formations and a sense of mystery. And the vue panoramique de la plage promises breathtaking views of the coastline. We'll have breakfast at MIDO'S, lunch at Tissemlal, and dinner at Restaurant Jbaria. I'm also hoping to find some unique souvenirs at La Vida Colorada, a shop known for its colorful and artistic creations.
