Aya grew up in Aboisso, Cote d'Ivoire, surrounded by a large, close-knit family. She always had a passion for exploring different cultures and sharing her experiences with others. After completing her studies in Abidjan, she moved to Kingston, Canada, where she met her husband, Liam. While working as a Community Outreach Coordinator, she started her travel blog on Evendo as a way to document her adventures and connect with like-minded individuals. My Travel Highlight
My most cherished travel memory is when I took my family to the Christmas Market in Strasbourg. Experiencing the magic in the air, with the twinkling lights, the aroma of gingerbread, and Nadia's eyes wide with wonder, was simply unforgettable. It reminded me of the importance of creating lasting memories with my loved ones and immersing ourselves in the beauty of different cultures.

Favourite Destination
Without a doubt, my best travel experience was in Rome. The city's rich history, stunning architecture, and vibrant culture left me in awe. From exploring the Colosseum and the Roman Forum to indulging in delicious pasta and gelato, every moment was filled with wonder and joy.

Best Hotel
I had a wonderful experience staying at The Nonantum Resort in Kennebunkport, Maine. The resort had beautiful family rooms, a complimentary kids camp and was located close to town.

My Adventurous Destination
Exploring Khao Sok National Park in Thailand was an incredible adventure. Trekking through the jungle, kayaking on Cheow Lan Lake, and spotting wildlife was an exhilarating experience that pushed me out of my comfort zone and allowed me to connect with nature in a profound way.

Mexico City is a foodie's paradise! The vibrant street food scene, the traditional markets brimming with fresh produce, and the innovative restaurants serving modern interpretations of classic dishes made it an unforgettable culinary journey. I especially loved the tacos al pastor and the complex flavors of mole negro.
