A quick freshening up, and I was ready to dive headfirst into the adventure. My heart pounded with anticipation as I set off to explore the legendary Valley of the Kings.

The morning sun cast long shadows as I entered the Valley of the Kings. The sheer magnitude of history concentrated in this one place was almost overwhelming. I must remember to pick up a copy of Dr. Chris Naunton's book when I return to Berlin; I'm eager to delve deeper into the development of royal tombs during the New Kingdom.

The service was impeccable, and the staff was friendly and attentive, making me feel like a valued guest.
