Today was all about escaping the mesmerizing blue streets of Chefchaouen and diving headfirst into the raw, untamed beauty of the surrounding Rif Mountains. It's amazing how quickly the landscape transforms from a bustling town to serene, untouched wilderness. I was eager to experience a different facet of Morocco, trading the vibrant medina for the tranquility of nature.

Our day began with a hearty breakfast at Amigo. I opted for some traditional Moroccan pancakes, Msemen, with a drizzle of local honey, which gave me the energy I needed for the day’s adventure. Lena couldn't resist the allure of a freshly squeezed orange juice, a staple in these parts, and we both agreed it was the perfect way to kickstart our morning.

Fueled up, we ventured towards the Jebel Bouhachem Nature Reserve. The drive itself was a treat, with winding roads offering panoramic views of the valleys below.
