I spent a good amount of time there, letting the water massage my shoulders and simply enjoying the feeling of being completely immersed in nature.

Lunchtime found me at Pomodori Trattoria. After a morning of chasing waterfalls, I was ready for a hearty meal, and this Italian restaurant seemed like the perfect choice. The aroma of fresh pasta and herbs filled the air as I stepped inside, instantly transporting me back to my childhood in Arezzo. I ordered the parmigiana pantenais, recommended by other travellers, and it was simply divine. The rich tomato sauce, the perfectly cooked pasta, and the tender filet mignon created a symphony of flavors that danced on my palate. It was a comforting taste of home, a reminder of the simple pleasures in life.

I have always had a sweet tooth, a trait I inherited from my Nonna, who always had a stash of biscotti hidden away for her grandchildren. The Chocolarte Café was a chocolate lover's dream, filled with an array of handcrafted chocolates, cakes, and other sweet treats. I decided to try one of their special cakes, and it was heavenly. The rich, decadent chocolate melted in my mouth, leaving me in a state of pure bliss. I also picked up a few extra chocolates to take back to Jean-Pierre and Sofia, a little taste of Brazil to share with my loved ones.

For dinner, I chose Garoa Restaurante. This place is known for its traditional cuisine and grill. Although Garoa was closed for the day, I was able to find another restaurant that offered a similar experience. I savored every bite, reflecting on the incredible day I had experienced.

I am eager to see what tomorrow brings as I am planning to visit the Circuito das Cachoeiras and Cachoeira das Andorinhas. I've heard whispers of breathtaking views and invigorating hikes, and I can't wait to experience it all for myself. And maybe, just maybe, I'll find another hidden gem along the way.
