Today was a day of exploration, a blend of natural wonders and local charm that only the Dades Valley can offer. It’s amazing how each day here brings a new perspective, a fresh appreciation for the raw beauty and the resilient spirit of this land. While Aaliyah couldn't be here with me, I know she would have loved capturing these landscapes with her keen eye. I made sure to take extra photos, knowing she'd want to see every detail.

My morning started with a hearty breakfast at Kasbah planéte bleue dades. The panoramic views were the perfect accompaniment to my meal. I enjoyed traditional Moroccan fare while overlooking the valley. The kasbah itself is nestled in Village Ait Bouallal. It was a great way to start the day, feeling connected to the landscape and the culture.

After breakfast, I set out to find Kefroun, also known as the Turtle's Back. The drive there was an adventure in itself, with winding roads and stunning vistas at every turn. I parked on the roadside and took some time to admire this unique rock formation. It’s incredible how nature can sculpt such distinctive shapes. I spent a good hour just wandering around, taking photos and soaking in the peaceful atmosphere.

For lunch, I stopped at Café Restaurant zinyou sud. This culinary oasis offered authentic Moroccan flavors. I savored a tagine, rich with local spices, and of course, enjoyed some freshly brewed mint tea. The staff were incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. It’s these small, local spots that truly give you a taste of the culture.

In the late afternoon, I decided to visit Dar Blues, a place I had heard about for its unique charm. The guesthouse stands out with its architecture and décor. The staff were welcoming, and the atmosphere was serene. Although I didn't stay there, I enjoyed a refreshing drink at their bar, Snack Asderm, and chatted with some fellow travelers. It was a great way to unwind after a day of exploring.

As the sun began to set, I made my way to Maison D'hôtes Restaurant Chez L'habitant Amazigh for dinner. This guesthouse offers a unique experience, allowing guests to live with a Berber family and immerse themselves in their daily life. The traditional Berber dishes were flavorful, and the hospitality was unmatched. The views from the terrace were breathtaking, overlooking the Dades Gorges. It was a perfect way to end the day, feeling connected to the local culture and enjoying the stunning scenery.

Tomorrow marks the final day of my Dades Valley adventure. I plan to explore Sidi daoud AIT SEDRAT JEBEL SOUFLA, Entrée du canyon, and Cascade, hoping to capture some last stunning photographs before heading back to Marrakech. I’ll also grab breakfast at Ayour cafe restaurant and lunch at Hôtel - Restaurant BOUGAFER, before a final dinner at Le Basilic Restaurant Des Rêves. I also plan to visit Dades Valley Activities shop to pick up a souvenir. This trip has been a reminder of the beauty and resilience of the human spirit, a lesson I’ll carry with me long after I leave this valley.
