After months of anticipation, our family adventure in Florence has finally begun! Stepping onto the cobblestone streets felt like stepping back in time, surrounded by the echoes of artists, thinkers, and innovators who shaped the world. The crisp January air nipped at our cheeks, but the warmth of the city's charm quickly enveloped us. I'm excited to share our first day exploring this magnificent city.



Our journey began with a smooth flight from Berlin to Florence. Sophia, bless her heart, was an absolute trooper, even with the early wake-up call. I did forget a few things, though. An umbrella would have been useful, and I could have used an extra memory card for my camera.
