My Travel Highlight
One of my best travel experiences was tracing the ancient influences of Sicily. Taking an immersive tour around the island and following an ancient Roman road, while visiting Syracuse's powerful ancient Greek city-state, gave me a new understanding of how rich and complex histories have shaped modern-day European countries .

For me, the best destination has to be Lisbon. The city is full of history, with the Alfama district echoing soulful fado music, an essential part of Portuguese culture . Wandering through the city's medieval streets and historic buildings is an unforgettable experience .
