It’s days like these that remind me why I love to travel, to explore, and to share these experiences.

Our day started with a hearty breakfast at Sõstar köök & baar in Kuressaare. Markus and I enjoyed some local pastries and strong coffee, fueling up for the adventures that awaited us. The café was bustling with locals and tourists alike, creating a vibrant atmosphere that set the perfect tone for the day. As we approached, the sight of the traditional wooden windmills against the backdrop of the rolling landscape was simply breathtaking. As I write this, back at our campsite, I can’t help but feel grateful for the experiences of the day. Saaremaa has a way of captivating the soul, of connecting you to the past, and of reminding you of the beauty and wonder of the natural world. It’s a place where windmills whisper stories of resilience, where craters echo cosmic events, and where every meal is a celebration of local flavors and traditions.
