This Explorers Travel Highlights

  • My Travel Highlight

One of my most cherished travel experiences was a safari in Kruger National Park, South Africa. Witnessing the 'Big Five' in their natural habitat was breathtaking and deeply moving, reinforcing my commitment to wildlife conservation.

  • Favourite Destination

Cape Town, South Africa, holds a special place in my heart. The city's vibrant culture, stunning landscapes, and rich history create an unforgettable experience. From hiking Table Mountain to exploring the colorful Bo-Kaap neighborhood, there's always something new to discover.

  • Best Hotel

I had an exceptional stay at the Anantara Dhigu Maldives Resort. The overwater bungalows, crystal-clear waters, and impeccable service made it a truly luxurious and unforgettable experience. The kids' club was fantastic for Thando, and Olivia and I enjoyed the spa and various water activities.

  • My Adventurous Destination

My trip to the Okavango Delta in Botswana was definitely my most adventurous. Gliding through the waterways in a mokoro (traditional canoe), surrounded by wildlife and the sounds of the African bush, was an exhilarating and humbling experience.

  • My Food Destination

I have to say that Bangkok, Thailand, is the best foodie destination I've ever visited. The street food scene is incredible, with an array of flavors and aromas that tantalize the senses. From Pad Thai to mango sticky rice, every meal is an adventure.
