Today was a day of diving deep into the heart of ancient Greece, a journey not just through space, but through time itself. Delphi, with its mythical aura, has always been a place I've longed to explore, and sharing it with Isabella and Sofia made it all the more special. Away from the Toronto office and the familiar world of finance, I found myself captivated by the stories etched into every stone and spring.

Our day began, as most good days do, with a hearty breakfast at PHIVOS Restaurant. The restaurant was cozy, and the aroma of fresh coffee and pastries filled the air. Sofia, who can sometimes be a picky eater, surprised us by devouring her moussaka, declaring it the best she'd ever had. Isabella and I shared a bottle of local wine, savoring the moment and the flavors of Greece.

With our bellies full and our spirits high, we ventured into the town of Delphi itself. Our mission: to find a unique souvenir, something that would remind us of our time here. The cafe offered stunning views of the valley below, a panorama of olive groves and rolling hills. We ordered a round of cappuccinos, savoring the warmth and the rich aroma. The cafe was buzzing with activity, locals and tourists alike, all drawn to its inviting atmosphere and breathtaking views. It was the perfect place to reflect on the day's adventures, to relive the moments that had touched us, and to simply enjoy each other's company.

Dinner at Astra Cafe Restaurant was a delightful affair. The menu was a mix of Greek and Mediterranean cuisine, and we opted for a selection of traditional dishes. The food was delicious, the service impeccable, and the atmosphere convivial. It was the perfect end to a perfect day.

As we drove back to the Artemis Hotel, I couldn't help but feel a sense of gratitude. Today had been more than just a sightseeing trip; it had been a journey of discovery, a chance to connect with history, culture, and each other. Delphi had exceeded all my expectations, and I knew that its echoes would resonate within me long after we had left.

Tomorrow, we are off to the Holy Monastery of Hosios Loukas and the MoKa olive stories tour. I am looking forward to another day of historical immersion, and perhaps picking up some olive oil!
