Our day began, as most good days do in Italy, with a delightful breakfast at Ristorante Bel Soggiorno. The hotel's breakfast room, with its panoramic window, offered a unique visual and sensory experience. The buffet was wide and varied, boasting quality raw ingredients, including gluten-free options. Aisha particularly appreciated the gluten-free choices, while Zayn made a beeline for the pastries. Fully energized, we were ready to explore.

Our first quest was to find the most breathtaking viewpoint in San Gimignano. We started our ascent, winding through the charming streets, each turn revealing glimpses of the stunning countryside. We opted for the panoramic viewpoint near Parco della Rocca, situated on a hill, offering a magnificent view of the city towers on one side and the fabulous Tuscan countryside on the other. The short hike was a treat in itself, passing vineyards and olive groves. Zayn, ever the curious one, kept asking about the grapes and olives, turning our walk into an impromptu lesson on Tuscan agriculture.
