Today was a whirlwind of Florentine experiences, a day where art, science, and stunning vistas collided in the most delightful way. Maximilian always jokes that I try to cram a week's worth of activities into a single day, and today, I might have proven him right. But trust me, every moment was worth it!

Our day began with a delightful breakfast at Caffè Gilli. The aroma of freshly baked pastries and strong Italian coffee was the perfect start. It's amazing to think that this cafe has been around since 1733! Sipping my cappuccino, I imagined all the artists and intellectuals who had gathered here over the centuries, discussing art, politics, and life. It felt like stepping back in time, a truly Florentine experience.

The cityscape of Florence was spread out before us, a breathtaking panorama of domes, towers, and rooftops.

The menu featured classic dishes made with fresh, local ingredients. We started with some bruschetta, followed by homemade pasta with wild boar ragu. The flavors were rich and hearty, a true taste of Tuscany. The service was friendly and attentive, making us feel like welcomed guests in a family home.
