Today was nothing short of magical. The air was thick with humidity, carrying the scent of damp earth and blossoming flora. Leaving behind the familiar comforts of Dresden, I found myself immersed in a world teeming with life, a symphony of sounds and sights that painted a vivid picture of the Amazon's untamed beauty. It was a day of exploration, discovery, and a profound connection with nature, shared with my beloved family, Hans and Lara.

Our day began with a delightful breakfast at YAKUMAMA RESTOBAR FLOTANTE. The floating restaurant offered a unique start to the day, gently swaying on the water as we enjoyed local delicacies. Lara was particularly excited, pointing out the various birds flitting among the nearby trees. The main event of the day was, of course, exploring the Reserva Nacional Pacaya Samiria SERNANP. In the afternoon, we continued our exploration, venturing deeper into the reserve. I couldn't help but feel a sense of responsibility, knowing that our presence here, as tourists, could have both positive and negative impacts.

We also took some time to visit Artrsania, a local shop, eager to support the communities within the reserve.
