Her family instilled in her a deep appreciation for history and storytelling. Seeking new opportunities, she moved to Dresden, Germany, in her early twenties. She pursued her passion for knowledge, earning a degree in history and library science. She now works as a librarian, specializing in Southeast Asian history and culture, a role that allows her to share her heritage with others. She met her husband, Hans, at a local cultural event, and they have one daughter, Lara. Sophea enjoys exploring Dresden's rich cultural scene and maintaining connections with her Cambodian roots through cooking, language, and community events.
