Really had fun beach combing on the Thames. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful. We were able to spend a good amount of time searching for “treasures” and our guide was great at helping us know what we found.

This was our second trip out with Robert to the Thames foreshore having had a great time by Tower Bridge last year. This trip was to Rotherhithe and was just as enjoyable. Robert is a great guide, explaining the safety rules and giving us an idea of what to look for at the beginning then just being on hand to advise during our time on the foreshore. We would definitely recommend Thames beachcombing to anyone with an interest in London history or who fancies giving mudlarking a try.

Brilliant morning. Robert has loads of knowledge which he shared with us. Amazing to think about all history we were experiencing through the finds. Looking forward to the next one.

This was a bucket list item. My daughter and I had a terrific time. Robert was great at communicating and was knowledgeable about the foreshore. He ensured our safety, shared photos of what we might expect to find and helped us date items. We had a great time and I would definitely do it again. We did have a challenge getting to the meet up location on the London underground but that was due to a train incident involving police. I would recommend leaving extra time for travel. There were places nearby to grab a coffee an pass time if arriving early.

We had a great time beachcombing by the Thames. Robert was really friendly and helpful. Excellent knowledge of all our artefacts and really took the time to look at everyone's finds. We were pleased with our finds of clay pipes, Tudor pottery and roof tiles dating back to before the great fire of London. A really relaxing and enjoyable couple of hours would definitely like to do it again. Thank you Robert for running such a great tour.
