    The MOOseum is located in downtown Montgomery. From the Alabama State Capitol, walk south on Bainbridge Street for approximately two blocks. The MOOseum will be on your left, across from the Alabama Bicentennial Park. There are sidewalks along the route.

    The MOOseum is located at 201 S Bainbridge St, Montgomery, AL. From I-85, take exit 1 for Union St toward downtown. Turn left onto Union St. Turn right onto S Union St. Turn right onto Dexter Ave, then turn right onto S Bainbridge St. The MOOseum will be on your right. Limited street parking is available. Several parking lots and garages are located within a few blocks, with hourly rates typically ranging from $1 to $2.

The MOOseum, managed by the Alabama Cattlemen's Association (ACA), is a unique and engaging museum in downtown Montgomery dedicated to educating children and adults about Alabama's beef cattle industry. Since opening in 1995, the MOOseum has offered hands-on exhibits that explore the history, production, and importance of beef in Alabama. Visitors can meet Dusty, the resident Longhorn, and Slim, the MOOseum mascot, while exploring exhibits like Hoofprints Through Alabama, Adam's Room, Slim's Buckaroo Cattle Club, The Cow Pen, The Cowboy Arena, Slim's Kitchen, and The Beef Wagon. These interactive displays provide an in-depth understanding of the beef industry, from farm to table. The MOOseum also highlights the ACA's role in shaping the beef industry in Alabama, showcasing the challenges and triumphs of cattle farmers and the ongoing efforts to promote sustainable farming practices.The Alabama Cattlemen's Association (ACA) was established in January 4, 1944. The Alabama CowBelles Association, now the Alabama Cattlewomen's Association, has served as the auxiliary to the ACA since 1953. Proceeds from the gift shop support the ACA's mission to educate the public about the beef industry.
