    If you're already in downtown Gadsden, Imagination Place is easily accessible on foot. Head towards Broad Street and look for the Mary G. Hardin Center for Cultural Arts. Imagination Place is located inside this center at 501 Broad Street. The entrance is from the rear parking lot off 5th Street.

    If driving, navigate to 501 Broad Street, Gadsden, AL 35901. Free parking is available in the rear parking lot off 5th Street. Be aware that parking can be limited during peak hours or special events. Additional parking lots are available in Downtown Gadsden, including one behind the Gadsden Times. Imagination Place Children's Museum, nestled in the heart of downtown Gadsden, Alabama, is a dynamic and engaging space where children can explore, create, and learn through play. Designed primarily for children ages 2 through 10, this interactive museum offers a stimulating environment with exhibits that cater to a wide range of interests and developmental stages. KidsTown USA is a popular permanent exhibit where everything is child-sized, allowing children to immerse themselves in a miniature town. Downstairs, kids can explore a medical clinic, grocery store, construction pit, and Grandma's House. They can even hop in the back of a Red Cross ERV (emergency response vehicle) and make a disaster relief meal. Upstairs, they can visit a train station and board the Imagination Express, visit a farm, sling some hash in a 50's diner, and sail on a sunken pirate ship. The museum also features a 1,500 square foot exhibit hall, which houses a different exciting and educational exhibit several times a year. Imagination Place regularly offers special programs, such as the Sensory Friendly First Saturdays, which provide a welcoming and supportive environment for children with sensory sensitivities. Imagination Place is committed to being accessible, ensuring that all children can engage in interactive exhibits, imaginative play areas, and educational experiences.
