Discover more about Vintage Cafe

Vintage Cafe, nestled in the heart of Montgomery's charming Old Cloverdale neighborhood, occupies the beautifully renovated, historic Regions Bank building. Originally built in 1955, the two-story building now blends the warmth of a cozy coffee shop with the inviting atmosphere of a daytime eatery and a curated retail store. Proprietor Jud Blount and his uncle, Tom Blount, transformed the former bank, with the elder Blount, a retired architect who also designed the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Blount Cultural Park, contributing to the vision. The renovation team refurbished the original terrazzo floors, converted the teller window into a drive-thru, and repurposed the safety deposit boxes along the counter, preserving elements of the building's banking past. Guests can still see a working camera on the height chart, a depository box, and the original metal vault gate. Vintage Cafe is committed to offering guests the finest culinary delights, specialty coffees, and exceptional wines and spirits, paired with outstanding customer service. The cafe serves Stumptown Coffee Roasters specialty coffees, Steven Smith Teamaker teas, fresh juices, smoothies, and a variety of healthy food choices. The menu includes fresh salads, baked goods, and grilled paninis, along with grab-and-go items. Customers can also explore a small retail store offering coffee blends, wines, produce from MGM Greens, and a variety of accessories and gifts. Open Monday through Saturday, Vintage Cafe features indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a convenient drive-thru window. The space is designed to welcome everyone in the neighborhood, from parents grabbing a quick bite after school to professionals working remotely.
