Getting There

• Walking

  Start at the Prattville City Hall located at 101 West Main Street, Prattville, AL 36067. From the City Hall, head east on Main Street toward North Washington Street. Continue straight for about 0.5 miles until you reach the intersection with South Memorial Drive. Turn left onto South Memorial Drive and walk for about 0.3 miles. You will pass by several local shops and eateries along the way, which might be worth a visit. After that, turn right onto East 4th Street and continue until you reach the end of the street, where you will find the entrance to Autauga Creek.

• Biking

  If you have access to a bike, you can rent one from a local bike shop. Start from downtown Prattville and head south on South Memorial Drive. Follow this road for approximately 1 mile until you reach East 4th Street. Turn right onto East 4th Street, and continue riding until you reach Autauga Creek. The ride is relatively flat, making it an enjoyable experience for tourists.

• Public Transit

  Although Prattville does not have extensive public transit options, you can take a local bus service if available. Check with the local transit authority for the nearest bus stop to your current location. Request to get off at the closest stop to South Memorial Drive. From there, walk north for about 0.2 miles to reach East 4th Street and follow it until you arrive at Autauga Creek.
