    From Tuskegee, AL, head north on AL-81 N/Martin Luther King Hwy. Continue to follow AL-81 N for approximately 7 miles. Turn left onto County Rd 40/W County Line Rd and continue for about 2 miles. Turn left onto National Forest Road 949. Continue straight, and campsite #8 will be located along the road. Keep an eye out for campsite markers. There is no entrance fee for the forest. Please note that high-clearance vehicles are recommended for some of the dispersed campsites.
