From Memorial Parkway, head south to Weatherly Road, turn left, then right onto Bailey Cove Road. Turn left onto Green Mountain Road and follow the signs to the Nature Trail. There is free parking available at the entrance to the park.

Visitors can explore the cabin to get a sense of early life in Madison County. The trail also features an A-frame chapel available for reservations, an outdoor classroom, and a Braille trail with descriptive plaques. The park is recognized as a Treasure Forest by the Alabama Forestry Commission and serves as a Wildlife Sanctuary.
