    From Skanderbeg Square, head east towards Rruga Myslym Shyri. Walk along the main path leading out of the square; the Independence Memorial will be on your left after about 400 meters, prominently situated along the street. The walk takes approximately 12-15 minutes.

    From Blloku, walk to the nearest bus stop at Rruga Hoxha Tahsim, about 300 meters from central Blloku. Board bus number 9 or 11 towards the city center. Disembark at 'Sheshi Skënderbej' and walk along Rruga Myslym Shyri for about 10 minutes. The bus fare is 40 Lek per ride. A monthly pass costs 1,542 Lek.
