    From Skanderbeg Square, head east towards Rruga Myslym Shyri. Walk along the main path leading out of the square; the Independence Memorial will be on your left after about 400 meters, prominently situated along the street. The walk takes approximately 12-15 minutes.

    Public Transport

    From Blloku, walk to the nearest bus stop at Rruga Hoxha Tahsim, about 300 meters from central Blloku. Board bus number 9 or 11 towards the city center. Disembark at 'Sheshi Skënderbej' and walk along Rruga Myslym Shyri for about 10 minutes. The bus fare is 40 Lek per ride. A monthly pass costs 1,542 Lek.

The monument is constructed from steel and stands approximately 6.5 meters high and 5.5 meters wide, weighing 15 tons. Laser-drawn elements on the inner sides include the Declaration of Independence, the double-headed eagle, and human portraits.Visitors are encouraged to reflect on the importance of independence while enjoying the vibrant atmosphere of the surrounding area.
