    The most common approach to Mount Çika is via the SH8 highway to Llogara National Park. From Vlorë, follow SH8 south towards Sarandë. The Llogara Pass marks the entrance to the park and the most popular starting point for the hike. Be aware that the SH8 is a winding mountain road with potentially limited parking at the pass. There are no tolls. Parking is free but can be crowded during peak season.

  • Public Transport

    While there is no direct public transport to the Llogara Pass, you can take a bus from Vlorë to the village of Llogara. From there, it's approximately a 3km walk to the Llogara Pass where the trail to Mount Çika begins. Bus fares from Vlore to Llogara are approximately 300-500 Lekë. Taxis are available in Vlorë, but expect to pay a premium for a ride to Llogara, around 5,000-7,000 Lekë.

    From the Llogara Pass, the trail to Mount Çika is well-marked but challenging. The path starts near the Panorama Restaurant and ascends steadily through varied terrain. The hike to the summit takes approximately 6-8 hours round-trip, so be prepared for a full day of hiking. There are no entrance fees or special transport tickets required to access the trail.
