Getting There

  • Driving

    From Dhërmi village, drive south on SH8 towards Jale Beach. After 10 km, turn right onto the mountain road leading to Mount Çika. Follow this road for 5 km to the designated parking area near the trailhead. Be aware that the road can be narrow and winding. Parking is free but can be limited during peak season.

  • Public Transport

    Take a bus from Vlorë or Sarandë to the Llogara Pass. From Llogara Pass, the trailhead to Mount Çika is near the Panorama Restaurant. Local buses are infrequent, and schedules should be checked in advance. A one-way bus fare from Vlorë to Llogara Pass costs approximately 300-500 LEK.

  • Taxi

    A taxi from Himarë to the Llogara National Park (the jump off point) will cost around 2,500 - 4,000 LEK, depending on the taxi company and time of year. Confirm the price before starting the journey. The ride takes approximately 30-45 minutes.
