Getting There

  • Walking

    From the center of Gjirokastër, head northeast on Rruga Dervish Hima. Continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach the intersection with Rruga Palorto. Turn left onto Rruga Palorto and continue walking for approximately 300 meters. Skënduli House will be on your right, marked by a sign. The house is situated at the address 34GP+46R, Rruga Palorto.

    If you are near the Gjirokastër Castle, exit the castle grounds and walk down towards the city. Head down Rruga Zekate, then turn left onto Rruga Palorto. Continue walking for about 800 meters, and Skënduli House will be on your left. Look for the historic architecture as you approach.

    From the Ethnographic Museum, exit and head southeast on Rruga Ismail Kadare. After about 250 meters, take a right onto Rruga Palorto. Walk straight for about 600 meters, and you will find Skënduli House on your left side. The distinctive features of the house will be visible as you get closer.
