From Himara, start by heading north on the SH8 road. Follow the signs towards Jale Beach and continue along this scenic coastal road for about 30 minutes (approximately 20 km). Keep an eye out for the signs directing you towards Angelokastro, which is located in the direction of Paleokastrites. Once you reach the village of Paleokastrites, follow the local signs that lead you to Angelokastro. There is a parking area near the entrance of the fortress, where you can leave your car.

Public Transportation
To reach Angelokastro via public transportation, take a bus from Himara to the village of Paleokastrites. Buses may not run frequently, so check the local schedule. Once you arrive in Paleokastrites, you can either walk or take a taxi to the Angelokastro site, which is about a 10-15 minute ride away. Taxis are available in the village and should cost around 5-10 Euros. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your ride.

If you prefer to hike, you can start your journey from Paleokastrites. From the bus stop or taxi drop-off, head towards the signs for Angelokastro.
