Walking
From the center of Himarë, head south along the main road. Pass Sfageio Beach and continue slightly uphill as the road rises above the shore. The road loops back to rejoin the waterfront at Prinos Beach. Continue to Potami Beach, about a 15-minute walk from the center. There are various restaurants and mini markets nearby.
Public Transport
Buses from Tirana, Saranda, or Vlore to Himarë are available. From Saranda, the bus trip to Himarë takes approximately 1.5 to 2 hours and costs around 800 Lek (€8). From Tirana, the bus ride takes about 4 hours and costs 1,200 Lek (€12). Once in Himarë, follow the walking directions to Potami Beach.
Taxi
Taxis are available in Himarë. A taxi from the center of Himarë to Potami Beach is a short ride. Confirm the fare before starting the trip. The cost will likely be a few hundred Lek.
