Getting There

Bus

From Skopje, take a bus from the main bus station to Mavrovi Anovi. Buses run several times a day, with a journey time of approximately 2 hours. From Mavrovi Anovi, you can take a taxi or local minivan to reach the Zare Lazarevski ski resort or other destinations in the Mavrovo region. Bus tickets cost around 8 EUR. A taxi from Mavrovi Anovi to the ski center will cost approximately 8 EUR.
Car

From Skopje, drive to Mavrovo via the E65 highway. The journey takes approximately 1.5 hours, covering a distance of around 100 km. Once you exit the E-65, the road leads through the Mavrovo National Park. Follow the signs to Mavrovo village or the Zare Lazarevski ski resort. Car rentals are available at Skopje International Airport. Parking is available near the ski resort and other tourist attractions. Expect to pay around 50 MKD per hour for parking.
