The Gorica Bridge, also known as Ura e Goricës or Kurt Ahmed Pasha bridge, stands as a proud landmark in the heart of Berat, Albania. This elegant Ottoman bridge, with its seven arches, has connected the Gorica neighborhood to the rest of the city for centuries.Originally constructed from wood in 1780 during the reign of Ahmet Kurt Pasha, the bridge was rebuilt with stone in the 1920s to increase its stability. Measuring 129 meters long and 5.3 meters wide, it rises approximately 10 meters above the Osum River.
