The Blue Eye of Kaprre, situated approximately 7 km from Theth village within Theth National Park, is a captivating natural attraction. This mesmerizing spring, sourced from the Black River originating in Maja e Zeze, boasts a depth of 4-5 meters and a surface area of about 100 square meters. The Black River is primarily fed by melting snow. Located between rocky and verdant slopes, the well's depth gives the water a striking blue and emerald hue that varies with the seasons, creating a fascinating spectacle for visitors. The surrounding landscape offers a serene environment for relaxation and photography. The water temperature averages around 10°C, offering a refreshing, albeit chilly, experience for those who dare to swim. To reach this natural wonder, visitors can embark on a scenic hike from Theth, passing by the iconic Church of Theth and the Grunas Waterfall. Alternatively, a shorter hike from Nderlysaj, about 8 kilometers south of Theth, is also an option. The trail from Nderlysaj takes approximately 40-50 minutes, with the first half involving a steeper climb and the second half offering an easier walk through a beech forest.
